Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) via Cloudflare Pages. On each request Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested page, browser and referrer to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in secure operation. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and bound by standard contractual clauses. Analytics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not retain IP addresses and builds no user profiles. It measures page views, load times, rough country of origin and browser type in aggregate. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in knowing which pages are read.

Guestbook (contact form)

When you write to me through the guestbook, I process your name, email address, optionally your club or dance school, and your message in order to reply. The message is delivered to me as an email via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) and stored in my mailbox. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I delete requests once they are resolved and no retention duty applies, at the latest after two years.

To protect the form from spam I use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks in the background whether the input comes from a human and processes technical browser characteristics for that. It sets no tracking cookie and builds no profile. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in protecting the form.
